RAINIER BUILDING AT PIERCE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Puyallup, WA

Architect / Engineer:
MSGS Architects

General Contractor / Customer:
Aldrich and Associates

General Project Description:

This eco-friendly building showcased a tiered design separated by the massive natural lighting spaces. The structure was accented with KPS’s System A Rainscreen, a 12mm Prodema composite panel, and AEP’s Design Span single skin metal. Dow’s 80 and 60 mil PVC membranes were installed on the flat roof sections, and Carlisle’s CCW-500R hot rubberized waterproofing was used to seal all the interior planters and winter gardens.
